As you know I have posted a wanted ad in the classifieds in stuka stunt looking for a Merco conrod. I received a reply from a Roger Chissick stating that he had the parts I was looking for and asked 120GBP for them I replyed that it was to much money and he lowered the price to 20GBP For the connecting rod and a NVA.He wanted payment via western union or money gram. When I asked for the address to send the money he said to send it to his son in Nigeria. That raised Red Flags for me and I decided to Google the name. It turns out I found a place where they say guy is a scammer So WATCH OUT if you get an email from this guy. I don`t know how he got my email.

WOW! My radar went off when he emailed me earlier this week looking for 450 Euro for a PA65!!! (that's $703) and when I called him on it, he said he didn't have a dollar sign on his keyboard and said he would take $450. Same terms for Western Union/Money order. I passed, needless to say (I can get a new PA75 still in that territory). I called Randy, who had never sold to or heard of Chissick...that clinched it for me.

I guess even in our little world of Stunt there's outside predators watching our forums, though I always felt very comfortable in the past dealing with anyone in Stunt. I still do, as long as I recognize the name I guess, but be careful, there are bad guys out there!

PS:I'm still looking for a PA65, heh heh.

Yep, this same guy approached me on some items I am looking for, but he did not wish to use e-mail, only phone---and that was to England!!!----NO WAY!!!!

He replied to me with email, said that he has a PA 65 w/ header and pipe for 320 Pound, then asked to talked to me on the phone, price went down to 210 pound.

While we talk, I asked him that what planes he had the engine, no answers, then I asked, have U had it on a ringmaster, he said that was the best fit.

Any way, I asked him if he provide me a tracking number shows that he sent the item, I'll pay. He mad a shipping website with tracking feature shows the item shipped to me.

Told him that he is simply a fraud, he got mad at me.
